Shine a light on Brecon charities for the chance to win an award

Following the success of Bethel Square’s first ‘Beacon of Brecon’ award, the shopping centre is now calling out for nominations of local charities that are going the extra mile.

The charity award looks to recognise people or foundations that are selflessly helping others and changing the community for the better.

Bethel Square wants to know more about local charities or volunteers, and the extra miles they are going to, for the inspiring voluntary work they are doing for a chance to win store vouchers worth £250.

Nick Yates, from Bethel Square shopping centre, said: “Our first award highlighted people that are making a difference in the community, so this time we are looking at the charity sector in the Brecons. There are many people giving their time and offering outstanding contributions and we want to hear about these unsung heroes.

“Our awards are here to recognise hard work and dedication and we want to shine a light on those who are important beacons among us.”

To make a nomination email beaconawards@pmwcom.co.uk with a short description of your nominee, the work they undertake, why they deserve to win, their contact details and where they live. Please also include your own contact details.

Nominations can be made until midnight on Friday 24th May.
