NASHVILLE, TN / AGILITYPR.NEWS / May 11, 2020 / National talent competition Celebration of Music, hosted by piano prodigy and philanthropist Ethan Bortnick, will host a state competition for their nationally televised PBS TV show in Tennessee. The event will showcase a variety of talent with contestants ages 5-25 from across the state (a complete list of contestants can be found HERE). Viewers can tune in to YouTube for the live performance on May 17th at 7 PM CST and cast their votes for the winner. Winners of the state competition will proceed to the nationally distributed PBS television show, Celebration of Music, in Los Angeles later this year. Some winners may also be given an opportunity for a record deal with Sun and Sky Records. The show will be cohosted by Tik Tok sensations McKenzi Brooke and Reif Harrison.

Celebration of Music is a national talent search that showcases the best emerging young talents across America where contestants compete locally for the opportunity to perform on the national Celebration of Music Television Show, distributed and offered to PBS stations across the country. Celebration of Music was inspired by the host, Ethan Bortnick, and his desire to give young musicians the same opportunities PBS Television afforded him. Originally a live event with audience members placing in-person votes to determine the winners, Celebration of Music has adapted to the new social-distancing norm in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and will be hosting each competition via a live YouTube stream, allowing audience members all over the world to place their votes, and interact with the contestants and the host himself. ABOUT THE HOST: ETHAN BORTNICK
